About the event
The Grange School Rowing Club is running a short learn to row taster course for current Grange School Year 8 students during the last weekend of the summer holidays. In particular the course may appeal to those who are interested in joining the rowing club in year 9.
The course will be led by Grange School Head Rowing coach Leon Langmead with the support of our coaching team and older experienced rowers.
The attendees will get an introduction to rowing and learn some fundamental boat handling skills and equipment knowledge. Moreover, the attendees will be able to try a new sport, develop teamwork skills and have fun!
The course will run from 9.00am to 11.30am on the mornings of 30th and 31st August and places are limited.
